Trainee Shift Setter – Midlands

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs:

Key Performance Areas

  • Assisting with set up and repair of all downstream machinery
  • Ensuring that all finished goods meet the minimum quality requirements
  • Complete all production logs and quality logs associated with the downstream operation
  • Ensure that raw material and packaging waste is below 1.4%
  • Practice a high standard of housekeeping and safety
  • Assist the shift setter as required
  • Prepared to work shifts and overtime as required
To be considered for this position applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • N4 studies completed and passed – certificate required
  • N5 or higher would be advantageous
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • A minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to work shifts and weekends and have their own transport
